When asked about the release of court records linking several high-profile people to the disgraced financier, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother stated, “I am only concerned about my brother’s murder.”

“I don’t know what to make out of these documents. I don’t know how these lists were compiled. And I have nothing to do with that, you know, and it’s not my business,” Mark Epstein told a US channel. “What I am concerned about is my brother’s murder,” WPBF 25 quoted him as saying.

Jeffrey Epstein was discovered dead in a high-security New York jail on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial on charges of trafficking girls as young as 14 for prostitution.

Within a week of his death, a medical examiner decided that he had committed suicide, a finding that Epstein’s lawyers and brother have continually contested. Mark has been lobbying for more information, including video from the cell block, to be made public.

“It seems like a cover-up,” the 69-year-old told the New York Post while listing the evidence he claims US officials are hiding.

“There appears to have been no investigation once it was ruled a suicide, they saw no reason to dig deeper. It seems like a cover-up. Why can’t I find his pre-hospital care report and why can’t I get the 911 call?”

Epstein’s 2008 conviction: Paid teens for massages, served 13 months

Epstein was convicted of paying teenage girls for massages in Florida in 2008, but he served only 13 months in prison because to a secret plea deal arranged with the state prosecutor at the time.

His name made headlines again after a New York judge began to reveal the identities of persons tied to Epstein in court records.

Former US presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are among those named in the records, which encompass nearly 1,000 pages of depositions and declarations.

In the United Kingdom, police announced last week that there would be no inquiry after an anti-monarchy group denounced Prince Andrew, who is accused in the documents of grabbing a lady, which he denies.

In 2019, a forensic pathologist hired by Epstein’s brother stated that evidence suggested the disgraced banker had been killed rather than committed suicide in his detention cell. Michael Baden disputed the official conclusion of suicide by hanging issued by officials in August, claiming Epstein’s injuries were “more indicative of homicidal strangulation.”

Multiple fractures seen in Epstein’s neck, notably the hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage, he said, were “very unusual for suicide.”

Following Epstein’s death, hundreds of women came forward to say they had been mistreated by him, and several have filed lawsuits against his estate.

His death spawned various conspiracy theories, the most popular of which speculated that he was murdered to prevent him from disclosing incriminating information about some of his affluent connections.
